All tooling services completed by Abbey can be tracked by a robust tooling management system which analyses the life-cycle and operative status of your assets. This system can be integrated into existing management programmes, offering you seamless tooling support.
Abbey’s team of engineers are OEM trained to repair a wide range of tooling assets ranging from pneumatic to DC product ranges from leading, global tooling manufacturers.
Following ISO standards, Abbey’s national coverage and repairs at UK based service centres, ensure that you receive a timely and accurate repair on all your tooling assets.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Within Abbey’s ISO accredited workshop; our manufacturer trained engineers possess a wealth of specialist industry knowledge. The experienced team is trained to service and repair a multitude of tools from a range of manufacturers to original equipment standards.
Abbey stock a vast array of spare parts to enable an efficient lead time on your tool repair. As an authorised warranty and repair centre for leading tooling brands, Abbey can provide warranty and test certificates on tools serviced. We are accredited service partners covering a variety of tool types from material removal to advanced drilling and fastening for several major manufacturers such as Bosch, Cleco, Darg, Dynabrade, Ingersoll Rand and Sturtevant Richmont.
TOOL MAINTENANCE
Designed around individual client needs, Abbey offer a tailored Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) solution; a tool maintenance programme designed to maximise up-time and ensure operator safety.
Alongside organising the collection and delivery of your tools, we can also implement a swap-out system with replacement tools whilst we conduct scheduled servicing, allowing your business to operate without any loss in production. As we create a service plan for each individual tool, at Abbey you can be assured of obtaining a completely traceable history and a QC audit which fully complies with current ISO standards.
TOOLING SUPPORT
To assist our product service proposition, Abbey Industrial Solutions offers tooling support via various avenues in line with individual client needs.
ON-SITE SERVICE HUB
Available for larger manufacturers requiring an enhanced level of support, Abbey’s on-site Service Hub implants an Abbey engineer to deliver the continuous provision of service, advice and repairs.
DEDICATED ENGINEER
One of our experienced engineers can be assigned as a dedicated point of contact who will visit your site on a regular basis to provide technical on-site product support and maintenance.
SERVICE SUPPORT
Our Service Support team operate across the country to help manage and maintain your tooling assets. This can include the collection and delivery of tooling repairs through to the management of asset registers, PPM support call off and HAVS testing.
BOX DROP
The Box Drop system has been developed with DPD to offer a swift collection service. Offering reduced lead times and rapid collection and delivery of your tools in need of repair or service, the Box Drop service is ideal for those requiring time critical repairs.
