Offering a full turnkey solution to DC tooling service and calibration in a shutdown period.

Case New Holland Industrial (CNH) are a global manufacturer of Agriculture and Construction equipment. Their UK site in Basildon produces up to 25,000 high powered tractors a year – that’s 68 a day!

Using DC tooling for critical joints, an annual calibration and service is essential for the tools to remain in peak performance and within manufacturing tolerances.

The customer requirements were that all tools were serviced and calibrated, as well as repairs where needed, were conducted within the 2-week shut down window in August.

The Abbey plan involved organising the collection and removal of tools from site, asset management and delivery of tools back to site.

The work was carried out in our ISO accredited workshop in Yorkshire by OEM trained engineers. The full turnkey solution also involved a trained DC engineer shadowing the production operatives for the first 2 days after reopening the lines.

Maintenance Manager for CNH Basildon said “We have used Abbey for 3 years now and every year they deliver everything they say they will do and meet all deadlines set.”
