Reducing energy consumption and increasing efficiency with a servicing schedule

Marshalls Aerospace and Defence develop and deliver world-leading applied engineering services and technology in the defence aviation market. They were looking to improve their productivity, increase operational efficiencies and contribute to the reduction of energy consumption with a service schedule for all their tooling assets.

Abbey Industrial Solutions implemented a new standardisation in the tooling platform which increased accuracy in manufacturing while  reducing the amount of  time lost to down-time.

The long-standing service contract allows Abbey to act as Asset managers creating a schedule of  works for annual servicing and  calibration, avoiding costly breakdowns and improving energy efficiencies in the manufacturing process.

The team at Abbey Industrial Solutions were pleased to be able to offer viable and efficient cost savings in line with Marshall’s corporate responsibility targets. Alongside this Abbey also developed bespoke reports which allow Marshalls to analyse and review the service status of each tool, allowing for a more holistic understanding of each assets ROI figures.
