Bespoke DC tooling Calibration scheduling for multi-site accounts

Our customer is a tier 1 automotive supplier with a global presence and manufacturing facilities in 38 countries.

Providing automotive Seating and E-Systems for all major automotive brands across the world they are known for leading with innovation and operational excellence so a regular schedule of service and calibration is essential for the tools they use across both of their UK sites.

Due to the differing requirements of the two sites Abbey provide a bespoke approach.

The Redditch site requires an engineer visit to conduct the work, this is fully project managed by the Abbey team, working to all the customer timing and on-site requirements.

Their Coventry site requires an off-site approach, so the Abbey support team arranges to collect the tools and then carry out the work back at their Yorkshire workshop, redelivering the tools back to site within one week.
