Our customer’s production facility specialises in developing and manufacturing engines, transmissions, vehicle systems, intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and hybrid & electric systems for a variety of automotive brands.

With up to 50 DC corded and cordless tools they have been a loyal customer of Abbey for over 6 years due to their proven track record and flexibility for the annual calibration work.

Due to the tools being in constant use during the working week a quick turnaround and a flexible approach to the calibration work is required. Managing the project from start to finish our engineers visit the customer’s site outside of the usual Monday to Friday shift patterns to complete the work.

Once our engineer is on site the tools are calibrated and any repairs are carried out to bring the tools back to peak performance. Our service also includes full asset registration and management.
