We are looking for a Service Technician/Engineer in Preston.
Reporting to the Workshop Team Leader, your key responsibilities are:
- Assessment, repairing and servicing of hand held tools including battery, pneumatic, DC and high frequency
- Fault finding and reviewing exploded drawings and requesting the required parts for each tool
- Liaising with the processing team to make sure all parts are created
- Vibration testing and production of test certificates as per customer requirements
With previous experience in a similar role, you will have knowledge of Health & Safety in the work place, a good standard of education (literacy and numeracy), excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, along with analytical and problem-solving skills.
The role is vital in ensuring we deliver great levels of customer service in terms of turnaround times and repair quality. This role is based at our Preston branch but can also involve on site work and be customer facing. The workshop currently works a 6am-2pm shift and overtime is paid at inflated rates.
